I didn't have any problems with putting it together, but I had another person to help. We wanted something small that could hold a few bottles, stemware, and some storage on top in our small apartment. It was perfect for what we needed. The entire top piece is not very stable. When opening and closing, it is uneven, and you have to align it before getting it to close fully. Otherwise, as long as you don't put too much weight on the top, it works. Not the best butler, but it was what we paid for. The top ended up cracking during our first move, but it was probably because the movers held it from the top part.

wine butler supplements wine rack in wine celler. the only complaint is the top does not open and close in a precise fashion. it sometimes catches and needs to be wiggled to open or close. assembly was fairly simple except for the door which needed two people to get in place. Overall we are pleased with the piece as furniture and like its design.

I really like this product. The only thing that almost had me return it was the fact that the shipping container was totally trashed. If it wasn't for the fact that I know woodworking - I would have returned it - instead I repaired the sliding top mechanism myself. (all the rails were bent and the screw heads stripped and put into the wood bent). The damage caused by shipping was easy to fix - the dowels had snapped off and just needed replacement after drilling out the holes. The poor construction of the metal slides took more repair - as they each had to be removed and reshaped to fit the sliding wood top.

This is a great product for the money. However, I should warn anyone that wants to assemble this unit for themselves. Be prepared for at least half of the drill holes to be too small for the screws and bolts. If you do not have access to power tools, you could very well be left with screws that have not been pushed in flush with the surface. In a couple of cases, that actually caused the wood to split. The device is still structurally sound and functional however and will probably suit me fine for years to come.
My recommendation is to get it pre-assembled, or be ready for a not so pleasant afternoon furniture assembling.

The Wine Butler is very good looking and a good value for the price. The finish matched the description as did the features. It was time consuming and somewhat difficult to assemble as the milling on some connecting parts was not exact. As the instructions stated, it took two people to assemble. But in the end it was worth the effort. The recipient of this gift was very happy.

I was looking for a wine curio for my son and purchased this one based on all the reviews by previous customers. For the price, this was absolutely beautiful. It is very rich looking and well made. The color was definitely espresso, even though it looked black in some of the pictures. Product was packed perfectly and arrived in perfect condition! A little time consuming to put together, but all in all, a wonderful wine butler. I would definitely do business with your website again!

The winerack was very easy to assemble. The wood was a great color and turned out to be very spacious. I was able to fit all of my wine glasses! The only downside to the rack was that the metal part of the drawer was a little crooked and need to be hammered in order for it to fit together properly.

Ordering and delivery were great and they even did a price matching of a competitor. The bar is well constructed and not flimsy and is well worth what it cost. Assembly directions were a bit difficult, however.
