The wall anchors supplied are not adequate, in my judgement. I used 2 toggle bolts in addition.
Holes for nails could be pre-drilled.
What it is, is minimalist with a small footprint that holds most bottles. Idea of using the top of the rack as storage is not good advice.

This rack is very utilitarian, but a very good value for a less that "showpiece" wine room. For a rock cellar in a house built in 1938, it's perfect!

Great space saver, but it does NOT fit most Burgundy bottles. Yes, there is storage on top for larger bottles, but if you are looking to store more than a few, it's not much of a bargain.

This product is recommended as a 152 bottle rack, which to me meant 152 cubbie holes. To my surprise this is not true, apparently the top-row (unprotected, free-floating bottles) is being counted as a bottle storage row. This means A. very insecure storage for 8 bottles, or, B. a loss of 8 spaces when you want to place a shelf for storage on top of the rack. I had counted this to be a 8 x 19 holes rack, and it was not, it's only an 8 x 18 hole rack. Also, this rack does not hold the larger Pinot Noir bottle size, another point which was misrepresented or carefully ommited. It's very nasty advertising and very diappointing.

CSN was great. Scott was the best. Nonetheless I am disappointed in the cubby holes issue, as described under Product Comments.

I did not like the length of teh dividers because it left the rack to close to the wall and, more importantly, it left about half of the bottles sticking out. So, what i did was have a friend make me six new dividers at 10 inches long instead of the [...]length of 7.25 inches. Works much better. Herb

This product is very difficult to assemble, which is complicated by the fact that the pieces are not perfectly matched, so it will not mount to the wall properly. I had to gerry-rig a solution on the fly, but now I'm always worried I'll hear a giant crash as 150 bottles fall off the wall at the same time.
